Handmade Vintage and Modern Clothing

Hello and thanks for stopping by!
Here's a little bit about my background. My name is Terri and I am South East London born and bred and love being part of a close-knit community.
I was taught at my mothers knee, how to sew and knit and have carried these skills throughout my life, making clothes for myself, my children and friends.
As the years went by, making one's own clothes fell out of fashion and due to 'fast fashion', sourcing fabrics became somewhat of an ordeal, therefore, I hung up my scissors for a number of years.
Fast forward to 2015 whereupon I started working in a local fabric emporium, the lady who owned the shop had an eye for amazing fabrics which then re-lit the fire under me. During this time I also taught customers how to sew and knit. Unfortunately, my time there came to an end, but my enthusiasm to sew didn't.
Since then I started to create a diverse collection of clothing, gifts and accessories using repurposed vintage fabrics. As far as possible, my makes are sustainable, recyclable and I occasionally use 'dead stock' fabrics from fashion designers.
And, last but not least, my name came about from having my loyal and loving dog Ralphie always by my side and Ted are my initials.
I hope you like what you see. Please feel free to reach out and note that I also take commissions.
Ralphie & Ted x
